Statement of Purpose
The AMTN.operates to facilitate best practice in the delivery of massage services through the provision of resources and information for practitioners and students of massage across Australia.
The Australian Massage Therapists Network (AMTN) is a professional volunteer network which contributes to the standards of the Alternative Therapies and Health Care Industry by sharing knowledge, skills and resources among practitioners and massage students seeking entry into the industry.
The Network was established in 2004 under the guidance of alternative health care and education practitioners. The network :

contributes to quality practice by promoting industry standards

provides an on-line platform for practitioners and students to share knowledge

gives rural and regional practitioners and opportunity to bring into urban focus - their valuable work in isolated communities

gains access to resources for practitioners and students at discounted prices.
